Free admission for Florentine residents

Residents of the Municipality of Florence are granted free admission to the Boboli Gardens via the entrances of via Romana (aka Palazzina di Annalena) and Porta Romana (in both cases the visit is limited to the area of the Column Meadow and the Basin of the Island) and from the entrance of the Belvedere Fort (in this case the visit limited to the Kaffeehaus area). Free admission for residents is no longer allowed via Pitti Palace.

In order to enter, the residents are now requested to get a free ticket upon showing a valid identity document certifying their residence or, in case residence is not deductible from the document presented, upon presentation of a valid identity document together with the residence certificate.
