Lifts in the east wing of the Uffizi are not accessible

We inform visitors that from 2 December 2024 the two lifts located in the east wing of the Uffizi nearby the Granducal Staircase will not be accessible to the public due to maintenance works.

Visitors who cannot climb the stairs and need the elevator to reach the second floor of the Gallery, once inside the museum have to go to the hall in front of the Granducal Staircase, where they are accompanied by staff to the elevators located at the Lanzi Staircase in the west wing.
