This rose is one of the most impressive varieties for use in entrance areas, and as the prominent features of flowerbeds and ornamental arrangements. It flowers generously and if well cultivated, it can bloom twice. The flowers are large, flat, and pale pink with darker shading towards the centre. Pleasantly scented. It tolerates poor soils well and is drought-resistant. It can be used in small archways or garden tripods to achieve beautiful effects. It is not suitable for pillaring (the term for how sarmentose roses climb up and around pillars or support posts) because its branches do not tolerate excessive bending.
