It is a vigorous shrub with an open posture and dark green foliage. The flowers, completely double, from narrow buds open flat, cup-shaped and in large clusters. The colour varies depending on the soil and exposure from dull yellow to a light orange like apricot. It is very fragrant and with an almost continuous flowering. It adapts to half-shade and is apt to be shaped into obligate forms if conducted in the apical shoots.
