Traditional Horse Parade through the Boboli Gardens

On the 7th of October, first Sunday of the month with free admission in State museums, a horse ride in traditional costumes will parade through the Boboli Gardens.
It represents a side-event to the ongoing exhibtion entitled "Riding through the Time. The Art of Horse Riding. From Antiquity to the Middle Ages" hosted at the Lemon House up to the 14th of October, and organized by the Uffizi Galleries in collaboration with Compagnia dell’Aquila Bianca and Real Cavallerizza di Napoli, two outstanding associations specialized in carousels and historical horseback riding.
Programme:
3:00pm Start of horses and horsemen from the amphitheatre of the Boboli Gardens
4:00pm Arrival at the Lemon House, venue of the exhibition, for a workshop on the art of horse riding
5:30pm Guided tour of the exhibition by the curators (reservations by phone)
In case of bad weather the event will be postponed to October 13, 2018.
