Uffizi by night on Tuesdays
Special openings until December and other news!
From 26 March 26 to 17 December 2024, every Tuesday evening the Uffizi are open until 10.00pm (last admission at 8.30pm), offering visitors the opportunity to admire their art masterpieces in the sunset light. The closing operations of the Gallery start at 9.30pm.
The aim is to invite in particular "the citizens of Florence to rediscover their main and most identitarian museum, the Uffizi, by providing an evening time slot fit for the needs of those people who live and work in the city" says Director Simone Verde.

Other special openings are scheduled on Mondays, which are normally the Galleries' weekly closing day: the Uffizi and the Boboli Gardens are regularly open on 1 and 29 April, 24 June (Feast Day of St. John, Patron Saint of Florence) and 30 December.
Director Simone Verde also announced that by May it will be possible to enter the museum simply by showing a QR code on a mobile phone. Those who book their admission through the call centre (ph. 055/294883) or via our website www.uffizi.it/tickets will receive by email a code to download directly onto their smartphones. For tickets purchased in advance, the current rules for their validation will continue to apply until the new system is implemented.
