The second volume of the series of tactile books of the Uffizi Galleries is dedicated to Raphael's portrait, displayed in Pitti Palace
The tactile books are new tools for getting to know and appreciate the pictorial collections of the Uffizi Galleries through touch, thanks to detailed tactile tables and texts in Braille. In addition, thanks to QR codes, it is possible to access further insights in the form of audio and text, a way of widening the accessibility of the book's contents as much as possible.
The second volume in the Uffizi Galleries' series of tactile books is dedicated to Raphael Sanzio's famous Velata, a new tool for getting to know and appreciate the pictorial collections through touch. In addition to the relief plates and texts in Braille, the book contains QR codes that allow access to further insights.
