Extraordinarily open from January to April
There is a "segret garden" inside the Boboli Gardens! Discover the Garden of the Camellias, extraordinarily open from January to April. Visitors will be welcomed into the Garden in groups of a maximum of 25 persons at a time, with no need for reservations.
From 13 January to 13 April 2025, on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, the Camellia Garden will be open for accompanied visits, thanks to the Boboli Gardens' security staff, at the following times.
January and February
9.30am, 10.30am, 11.30am, 12.30pm, 1.30pm
March and April
10.00am, 12.00pm, 1.00am, 2.00am, 3.00am, 4.00am
Groups max 25 people.
The camellia is thought to have arrived in Italy from the far East around the end of the 18th century, and Tuscany was one of the most crucial distribution centres for this flower, given its abundance of local enthusiasts and growers.
