Nico Stringa - The Etruscans in modern and contemporary art. Arturo Martini and his terracotta works
Lecture in Italian - Vasari Auditorium - 4th September 2019
Professor of History of Contemporary Art at the Ca' Foscari University of Venice, Nico Stringa analyzes the works by Arturo Martini showing that they are dealing with the Etruscan world not for their iconography but for the material they are made of, and also because they seem to draw inspiration from the Etruscan underworld.
