Silk chiffon dress dyed in shades of green and yellow. The deep V-neckline is edged with a jewel decoration made of black and
white glass bugle beads and small pearl beads running down fromthe breast to the waist The short sleeves are adorned at the hem with the same pearl and bugle bead motif. The waistline is underscored
by a wide black silk velvet band. The lightly flaring skirt, which is longer at the back to form the hint of a train, is elegantly decorated with a geometrical decoration of large stylised plants clearly inspired by the Jugendstil.
This dress belonged to the Countess Margaret Brinton White Savorgnan di Brazzà.
