Lilac satin hat with a tall crown edged at the base with a draped ribbon in the same material. The brim is of medium size with an underbrim adorned with lilac silk ruches. The crown is embellished with ostrich and grey heron feathers in nuanced shades of aqua green. Two long satin braids hang down, one on either side, edged at the end with pleated écru mechanical lace. The support structure is in sparterie matting.
The hat was presented to the collection together with a walking outfit made for the Baroness Raffaella Bordolani dei Principi Grimaldi e Baroni di Calamenzana.
Donated by the Associazione Amici della Galleria del Costume, 1986
