Cocktail dress

Cocktail dress, short, slightly tight-fitting, in the form of a black wool twill with embossed of embossing. Back decoration of rooster feathers. Black satin lining. Exhibited in 2012 at the Metropolitan Museum in New York, on the occasion of the exhibition "Schiaparelli & Prada Impossible Conversations". The dress, poised between simplicity of line and heterogeneity of materials, refers to the minimalist character of the early 1990s collections and the suggestions of the 1920s revisited by Miuccia Prada (Milan 1949) in perfect perfect postmodern style.
