Night at the Museum 2019: nocturnal opening of the second floor of the Uffizi at €1!
18th May is the European Night of Museums!
Saturday 18th May is the 15th edition of the European Night of Museums and the secon floor of the Uffizi will be exceptionally open from 7pm to 10pm with a special ticket price of only €1. The initiative, under the patronage of the Council of Europe and ICOM, will be shared by roughly 3,200 museums in 30 countries with the aim to foster the European cultural identity in all the States of the Union.
On the occasion of the evening opening of the second floor of the Gallery, visitors can be accompanied by some narrators from various Countries in an interesting tour of some paintings of the museum collections. The initiative is part of the Factories of Stories project, which offers the public of the Uffizi a new vision of the museum, interpreted as an inexhaustible 'yard' of stories told.
