ADMISSION
The Royal Apartments can be accessed by purchasing one of the following tickets to Palazzo Pitti:
“Palazzo Pitti-Appartamenti Reali” ticket (click here) | full price € 16.00; concessions € 2.00; or free of charge where appropriate.
This ticket allows the holder to visit each of the following museums in the circuit (once only): Galleria Palatina (Palatine Gallery); Galleria d'Arte Moderna (Modern Art Gallery); Tesoro dei Granduchi (Treasury of the Grand Dukes); Museo della Moda e del Costume (Museum of Costume and Fashion).

Admission to the Royal Apartment entails no additional cost over and above the price of the “Palazzo Pitti” and “Passepartout Pitti-Boboli” tickets.
All tickets are nominal. Tickets cannot be either changed or refunded.
The time slot indicated on the ticket is the time at which the tour of the Royal Apartments begins. Show your ticket to staff at the main door leading into Palazzo Pitti from the square (Piazza Pitti) well before the time slot shown on the ticket, in order to enjoy priority access to the museum circuit on the day you have booked your tour of the Royal Apartments. This will allow you plenty of time also to visit the other museums in the circuit.
Once you have left a museum in the Palazzo Pitti circuit, you may not return for a second visit (the Royal Apartments are classifed as part of the Galleria Palatina).
Firenze Card holders.
When purchasing or collecting the Firenze Card from the ticket offices or via the call centre, visitors may book their tour of the Royal Apartments for the same day on which they plan to visit the Galleria Palatina, at the same time as they book their tour of the Uffizi. Once visitors have left a Palazzo Pitti museum, the Boboli Garden or the Bardini Garden, they may not return for a second visit on the same ticket (the Royal Apartments are classified as part of the Galleria Palatina)
Visitors who already hold a Gallerie degli Uffizi ticket permitting access to the Palazzo Pitti, or a Firenze Card, may book the Royal Apartments Supplement with no additional admission or booking fee, compatible with time-slot availability.
Gallerie degli Uffizi tickets are: Biglietto singolo Palazzo Pitti (Individual Palazzo Pitti Ticket); Passepartout Pitti-Boboli (Pitti-Boboli Passepartout); Passepartout 5 days (5-day Passepartout); Passepartout cumulativo annuale (Annual Combined Passepartout); Passepartout Family (Family Passepartout); with a 5-day Passepartout ticket, the tour of the Royal Apartments must coincide with the day planned for your visit to Palazzo Pitti.
Once visitors have left a Palazzo Pitti museum, the Boboli Garden or the Bardini Garden, they may not return for a second visit on the same ticket (the Royal Apartments are classified as part of the Galleria Palatina)
Firenze Card holders may book their tour of the Royal Apartments at no extra cost at the ticket offices, using the call centres or by booking the Royal Apartments Supplement on line, compatible with time-slot availability, for the same day on which they plan to visit the Galleria Palatina. Once visitors have left a Palazzo Pitti museum, the Boboli Garden or the Bardini Garden, they may not return for a second visit on the same ticket (the Royal Apartments are classified as part of the Galleria Palatina).
COMPULSORY RESERVATION
Reservations are required to visit the Royal Apartments. This obligation applies to all visitors, including the following categories: tour guides; disabled visitors and their carers; children under the age of six.
Tours must be booked online, or at the ticket office, or by call centre (+30 055 294883 Monday to Friday 8.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m., Saturday 8.30 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday and national holidays 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.).

The Royal Apartments are not open on special opening days when such days fall on a Monday.
TAKING THE TOUR
All visitors must show up at the Meeting Point at least five minutes before the Royal Apartment Tour time slot shown on their ticket. Failure to show up on time will entail loss of the right of admission to the Apartments, in view of the limited number of visitors per group.
Please note that it takes about twenty minutes to reach the Meeting Point from the main door leading into Palazzo Pitti from the square (Piazza Pitti).
Tickets will be inspected a second time at the Meeting Point in order to ensure that they are valid for admission to the Royal Apartments, so please make sure you do not throw your ticket away. You should show your ticket along with valid ID. Tickets of visitors who have booked a same-
day tour (and thus, whose names do not appear on the list supplied to staff early in the morning) will be inspected by a member of staff at the entrance to the Galleria Palatina.
Group members must stay together at all times as a security precaution. Visitors must not stray or wander away from the group. Instructions imparted by accompanying staff members must be strictly complied with at all times.
Tour guides lecturing a group must do so in accordance with the following conditions: within the planned time frame for the tour; without disturbing other visitors; using whisper systems if necessary, for groups of no more than six members.
Given that tickets are valid for each museum in the Palazzo Pitti circuit only once, any visitors who wish to visit the Galleria Palatina after touring the Royal Apartments because they did not do so beforehand, may only enter the Galleria Palatina in the company of the Gallerie degli Uffizi staff member(s) who accompanied their group, on leaving the Royal Apartments (this option is not available to visitors choosing the 4.45 p.m. time slot).
